Conference Center
The conference center's design will provide a unique and fully equipped space for private engagements from weddings to industrial conferences and will include a professional kitchen for teaching cooking and nutrition. Facing the forested wetlands, it will provide a distinctive, private, and engaging experience. As part of the main nature center, the conference center will also allow participants to experience a short walk along an elevated walkway through an active wetland and wildlife area.
Family
SLEEC’s goal is to restore an ecosystem that was created by the conveyance of the Mississippi River and Gulf of Mexico. As such, SLEEC offers family opportunities to have a “hand” in not only observing but restoring this ecosystem. SLEEC is more than just a place to visit—it is a place to create lasting memories. Projects such as tree plantings, wildlife observations, cooking classes, or just enjoying the public facility make it a perfect family opportunity.
